This is the first of the OXBAR disposables we’ve reviewed and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. The OXBAR vape brand are building quite a reputation in the vape community with their range of disposable vapes and the OXBAR G8000 is their biggest, boldest disposable to date.
With a huge 16ml of e-juice, the OXBAR G8000 is one of the longest-lasting disposable vapes we’ve tested! If that isn’t enough to get excited about, the G8000 OXBAR disposable features a 650mAh rechargeable battery and a range of 17 delicious flavors.
Available in 50mg (5%) nicotine strength, the OXBAR G8000 is the perfect disposable for vapers coming off a heavy smoking habit.

What’s in the Box?
First things first, the OXBAR G8000 order arrived in a display box of sorts, with OXBAR branding and ‘Refresh Your Day’ printed on it.
Usually the disposables we’re sent to review come wrapped in a jiffy bag so this was a bit of a surprise!
As you can see, the disposables are packed tightly into a cut-out section within the actual display case. Under the disposables was a promotional leaflet with the OXBAR vape branding, information about the OXBAR G8000 and a list of available flavors.
I feel like a connoisseur being offered a case of expensive cigars to choose from!
The actual individual OXBAR G8000 comes packaged in a bright, colorful cardboard box slightly larger in size than a pack of playing cards. Inside the box is a sealed, foil wrapper protecting the G8000 disposable and a branded OXBAR lanyard.
The lanyard is a nice touch and not something you see all that often with disposable vapes. I’ll be completely honest; it’s not something I would make use of personally, but it’s a nice addition nonetheless.
The packaging is color coded so the color of the box matches the flavor of the disposable inside, and all the information you’re likely to need is clearly displayed.
On the front of the box you’ll find ‘OXBAR G8000’ and the flavor name printed in large, black capitals. Directly underneath is a picture of the disposable, the puff capacity, the coil type and a note indicating the free lanyard found inside. The usual nicotine warning is also displayed on the front and reverse of the packaging.
Also on the reverse of the box you can find the nicotine strength, e-juice capacity, number of puffs, battery capacity and e-juice ingredients. In addition to this, the usual array of warnings are displayed regarding fire safety, children, age restriction etc.
On the left facing side of the box is the batch/manufacture date and a QR code which can be scanned to confirm the OXBAR G8000 is authentic. I’ve mentioned this before in some of our other disposable reviews – to be honest I very rarely scan the QR code to check authenticity but it’s a nice feature regardless.
Finally, on the right facing side of the packaging is the barcode and the distributor address and contact details.
Overall I really like the packaging design – it’s bright, bold and colorful with everything you’d possibly need to know printed clearly in a decent size font.
I do have a small issue though; there’s no indication of the PG/VG ratio on the packaging. It’s not a deal-breaker but those with a PG Intolerance would find it useful.
Inside the box you’ll find the OXBAR G8000 protected inside a foil wrapper. Just tear open this wrapper and the disposable will slide right out.
Finally, before you’re ready to vape you’ll need to remove the sticker from the base of the disposable and the silicone plug from the mouthpiece. The OXBAR G8000 comes pre-charged and ready to vape, so once you’ve removed the sticker and plug you’re all good to start vaping.
OXBAR G8000 | Design and Appearance
In terms of design and appearance, I absolutely fell in love with the OXBAR G8000! Right out of the box, the first thing that caught my eye was how compact and lightweight it is. I’m not sure exactly what I was expecting, but when you consider it’s a rechargeable disposable with a 16ml e-juice reservoir, the compact size really caught me by surprise!
Measuring 85.6mm in height, 49.7mm in width and 25.4mm in depth, the OXBAR G8000 is a much smaller disposable than many of the other higher puff capacity, rechargeable devices on the market.
I’m thinking of devices like the MOTI PIIN C4000 and/or Voltbar . Both fantastic disposables that we highly recommend, however the OXBAR G8000 actually boasts a far higher puff capacity and yet it’s a much more compact and discreet disposable.
The OXBAR G8000 is similar in size to the Orion Bar 7500 we reviewed recently, and if you’re a fan of the smaller, more discreet disposables you’ll likely love them both.
It’s also very lightweight for a multi-day disposable, weighing in at exactly 72g. The OXBAR G8000 fits comfortably in your hand and the compact, lightweight design is perfect for vaping on the go. You could quite easily pop it in a pocket or bag and forget it’s even there.
I often carried all three disposables OXBAR vape sent us and they were far less noticeable than slipping your phone or wallet in your pocket.
Considering the OXBAR G8000 includes 16ml of e-juice and a rechargeable 650mAh internal battery, the fact they’ve squeezed all that into such a compact device is a pretty impressive feat.
The OXBAR vape brand have designed the G8000 disposable as a simple, easy to use device. It’s auto-draw, which means you just draw on the mouthpiece to take a puff. No buttons or controls to worry about and the auto-draw worked perfectly across all three of the disposables I tested.
I’m also really impressed with the overall aesthetics and feel of the OXBAR G8000. As you can see from the pictures, it’s designed with a clear polycarbonate outer shell, with wavy lines running up and down the main body of the disposable.
Underneath that polycarbonate shell is a plastic section that’s colored to match the flavor of the OXBAR G8000 disposable. The OXBAR vape brand name, disposable name and flavor are etched on the front of the device, while the bottom section is a solid, white plastic that houses the 650mAh battery, the type-C USB charging port (0.5A) and the LED puff indicator.
The LED indicator lights up whenever you puff on the disposable and flashes several times in quick succession when the battery requires recharging.
The polycarbonate shell and smooth, rounded corners of the OXBAR G8000 make it incredibly comfortable to hold and easy to grip.
Not so surprisingly for those of you that know me well, I still managed to drop all three OXBAR vape disposables multiple times! Interestingly, the polycarbonate shell actually held up better than you’d expect and apart from a few minor scratches/scuffs, the OXBAR G8000 definitely passes the durability test!
In fact, despite the lightweight design and polycarbonate shell, far from feeling cheap or flimsy, the OXBAR G8000 actually feels well-built, robust and durable.
At the top of the OXBAR G8000 there’s a smooth polycarbonate mouthpiece section that protrudes approximately 17mm above the body of the disposable. This mouthpiece is a duck-billed shape and super comfortable to vape on.
On the right facing corner of the OXBAR G8000 disposable there’s a double-punched opening for the included lanyard to be attached. As I mentioned before, it’s a nice feature and it does attach securely but it’s not something I use personally.
If I had to find a negative it would be the fact the OXBAR G8000 doesn’t feature pass-through vaping, which means you won’t be able to vape on it while it’s charging. It’s not a major issue, especially as the 650mAh battery only takes approximately 45 minutes for a full charge. However, I’m not a patient fellow and it would have been nice to sneak the odd puff during the charging cycle!
Overall though I’m really impressed with the design and appearance of the OXBAR G8000. The design is colorful and eye-catching and the compact size and lightweight composition make it extremely convenient and portable.
Throw into the mix the fact it holds a huge 16ml of e-juice and a rechargeable 650mAh battery that’s quick to charge and what’s not to love!
OXBAR G8000 | Performance
In terms of the performance you can expect from the OXBAR disposable, you’ll be pleased to hear I’ve got nothing but great things to say.
Let’s start by talking about what impressed me the most, which is the quality of the flavor on offer with the OXBAR G8000 disposable.
Each of the three OXBAR disposables I tested were absolutely bursting with flavor! I’m not sure what the OXBAR vape team are doing differently, but the flavors pack a serious punch. They’re dense, mouth-watering and clean tasting, without any synthetic aftertaste. I can only vouch for the fruity flavors I tried but all three tasted like freshly picked fruit and lingered on the tastebuds long after each puff!
Even with my least favorite of the three (the Sakura Grape) it was hard not to appreciate the care, effort and attention to flavor that OXBAR have clearly put into their e-juice recipe.
Another major positive is the vaping time or lifespan of the OXBAR G8000.
As you’d expect based on its name, the OXBAR G8000 will last a whopping 8,000 puffs. I kept track as best I could during my time testing the OXBAR disposable and each of the three lasted between 7,912 and 8,209! Adjusting for any potential errors in my puff tally (which is entirely possible!) all three still fall nicely within the 8,000 puff range per disposable.
I tend to vape heavily throughout the day, with my vape attached to my hand during most of my waking hours. Yet even with heavy use, each of the OXBAR G8000 disposables lasted at least 12 days! That’s incredible at this price range (we’ll talk more about this later in the price section) and an absolute no-brainer in terms of value for money when compared with other similarly designed disposables!
If you consider yourself a casual or even medium vaper, you could potentially get well over three full weeks of vaping with the OXBAR G8000! Let’s do the math – a total of 8,000 puffs across 21 days of vaping is 380 puffs per day. Let’s assume you’re awake and puffing from 8am to 10pm most days. That’s 380 puffs across 14 waking hours, which comes out at 27 puffs every hour.
That’s plenty of puffs for most light-medium vapers and probably more than required if you vape casually/socially!
In addition to the amazing puff capacity, the 650mAh battery performs exceptionally well, providing around 2 days of vaping before needing to be recharged. Ideal if you’re heading out for the day and don’t want to worry about running out of battery.
While the OXBAR disposable is charging, the LED indicator will remain lit until the battery is fully charged, at which point the LED indicator will turn off.
As I mentioned earlier the OXBAR G8000 doesn’t support pass-through charging, so you won’t be able to vape while it’s on charge.
Another huge positive is the density and quantity of vapor the OXBAR G8000 chucks out! With a standard 2-3 second puff, it produces a plume of thick, warm vapor that rivals most MTL (mouth-to-lung) mod and tank setups!
You won’t necessarily be winning any cloud-chasing competitions, but then that’s not really why we buy disposables.
Airflow, throat hit and nicotine delivery are also absolutely spot on! The auto-draw on the OXBAR G8000 works perfectly and the airflow provides a nice restrictive MTL draw, with a satisfying throat kick thanks to the 50mg/ml (5%) nicotine salt.
It would be nice if the OXBAR vape brand released the G8000 disposable in a few different nicotine strength options, as 50mg/ml is slightly higher than I typically vape. Having said that, I didn’t experience any issues vaping the higher strength and I found the throat kick felt just right. Not too harsh but not too smooth either – almost exactly like the feeling of smoking a cigarette.
The 1.2ohm mesh coil kicks out consistently impressive flavor and vapor production, with no noticeable loss of either over the lifespan of the disposable. The only caveat to this was during the final 3 – 5 puffs before the OXBAR G8000 finally ran out of e-juice.
Overall I really couldn’t be more impressed with the performance of the OXBAR G8000. So much so that I’ll be updating our best disposable post at some point soon and I’m tempted to give it the top-spot!
If you want amazing flavor and superb vapor production in a device that could last you well over two weeks, I highly recommend the OXBAR G8000 disposable!

As you can see, there are plenty of delicious flavors in the range, including several fruity flavors, a tobacco blend and even a ‘clear’ flavor, which I assume is a flavorless option!
Please let me know in the comments below if you’ve tried the clear OXBAR G8000! If it is indeed a flavorless option, it’s the first disposable range I’ve seen offering this!
It’s also nice to see a tobacco flavor included in the flavor range. The majority of the disposables we’ve reviewed don’t include a tobacco flavor and although it won’t be an issue for everybody, I know there are plenty of you in the community that are always on the lookout for a decent tobacco blend.

OXBAR were kind enough to send us three flavors to try from their OXBAR G8000 range; Mad Blue, Sakura Grape and Watermelon Slushie.
I’ve spent the last month reviewing each of them and I want to take a moment to tip my hat to OXBAR. From the first few puffs it was clear they’ve created something special here. Not only is the flavor range unique and interesting (Avocado Nana anyone??) but they’re bursting with flavor and absolutely delicious.
I know taste is subjective and ‘your mileage may vary’ but I can say for me personally, the OXBAR G8000 disposables pack a serious punch in terms of flavor. Of all the disposables I’ve reviewed over the last 12 months, they’re easily in my top three!
Mad Blue
I’ll start with the Mad Blue, as this was my favorite flavor of the three disposables OXBAR sent us.
The Mad Blue is a mouth-watering fruity medley, with blueberry and raspberry in a well-balanced blend of sharp, sweet and sour.
The mix of the sharp, tart blueberries and sweet raspberries make for an absolutely delicious flavor, perfect for a sweet tooth or hot summers day!
This was easily an all day vape for me and a flavor I genuinely can’t imagine anyone not loving!
Sakura Grape
I’d say this was probably my least favorite of the three flavors OXBAR sent us to review.
I’m typically not a fan of grape flavor e-juice as it’s often synthetic tasting and one dimensional, with a single, sometimes boring flavor note.
However, I found myself pleasantly surprised with the Sakura Grape disposable…
The usual ripe grape flavor is obviously present, but it’s not too sweet or synthetic and the addition of the subtle Sakura (cherry blossom) actually balances the flavor out nicely.
Watermelon Slushie
In terms of my favorite of the three flavors OXBAR sent us, it was a toss-up between Mad Blue and this flavor; Watermelon Slushie.
Absolutely bursting with flavor, the Watermelon Slushie is a deliciously sweet and juicy melon flavor, with a very slight icy kick on the inhale.
The aftertaste that lingers on the tongue with this flavor is divine and I found it extremely hard to put down!
As with all three flavors (but even more noticeable here) the watermelon note is really ‘clean’ and authentic – it tastes exactly like freshly picked fruit!
Overall I’m really impressed with the flavors OXBAR sent us. The flavor output across all 3 OXBAR G8000 disposables I tested was incredible. Perfectly blended, dense, full-bodied and bursting with flavor!
If I had to choose I’d say the Mad Blue was my favorite but it’s a close call. The Watermelon Slushie is also excellent and I think it’s a testament to OXBAR that my least favorite flavor (Sakura Grape) was still one I’d happily vape all day.
Needless to say, I will definitely be purchasing other flavors in the range in the near future!
OXBAR G8000 | Price
At the time of writing, the OXBAR G8000 is a new release and it’s not yet widely available.
However, in terms of price the OXBAR G8000 is retailing for around $12.99 per disposable, with free shipping at the few online stores I managed to find it at. A fantastic price considering each disposable will last approximately 2 weeks or longer if you’re not chain vaping. Even vaping heavily like I do, each disposable lasted me over a week and a half! Compared to the equivalent smoking cost, it’s considerably cheaper.
Going into this blind, I expected them to be selling for at least $20 – $25 and I’m genuinely surprised, especially considering the quality and performance OXBAR have packed into these disposables. Generally speaking, the price of disposables often reduces with time as more products hit the market and if that’s the case in this instance, the OXBAR G8000 could quite easily become my favorite long-term disposable.
I usually don’t rely on any disposable as my only vape device, simply because the cost can quickly mount up if I’m buying several disposables a week. Instead I tend to view disposables as a treat I’ll allow myself every once in a while, or a quick and easy alternative to my usual vaping set-up.
However at $12.99 for such incredible quality and performance, not to mention the huge flavor range and high puff capacity, the OXBAR G8000 is a ‘no-brainer’ and it might just be the best all-round disposable I’ve tested to date.

Overall I’m really impressed with the OXBAR G8000! Actually, to say I’m impressed is an understatement. The OXBAR G8000 is a truly exceptional disposable and one of only a very small handful of vaping products I’ve been genuinely excited to talk about this year!
The flavor is outstanding, the vapor production is spot on, the throat hit is perfect and the puff capacity is amazing. OXBAR have wrapped all that up in a well-designed, easy to use disposable at a surprisingly affordable retail price and struck gold with this disposable.
It’s so good it’s almost a shame there’s no way to re-fill the OXBAR G8000!
The build quality, design and performance all far exceeded my expectations. OXBAR have done a truly amazing job with the G8000 disposable and I’m eager to see what they release next!
If they continue to release products with this degree of quality and performance within such a reasonable price range, I wouldn’t be surprised to see them at the forefront of the disposable vaping market in the foreseeable future.
